Why?

Annual exams help us maintain health, identify and manage health conditions early, track progress by comparing findings from past visits, and prevent disease using vaccines and other approaches.

How?

During our exam, we focus on your pet’s history (as told by you) and physical exam findings to determine which preventative care and tests your pet might need. Details matter and help us make the best recommendations!

Prevention saves lives

Because animals age faster than humans, and diseases in animals progress quickly too. Coming for an annual exam allows us to identify illnesses early and start treatment before things get worse

Prevention saves money

Preventative care works to ensure disease processes are stopped before they happen. Annual exams usually cost $200-$300, and treatment measures for diseases that could have been prevented can cost $1000-$3000

Your veterinarian helps

Animals have an instinct to hide pain, so it can be difficult to notice when our pets are sick or injured. Annual visits allow the veterinary team to screen for pain and keep your pet comfortable and healthy.

Senior Care

With animals, senior pets (those over 7-10 years of age) should be seen by the veterinary team every 6-12 months. Senior pets are more likely to develop diseases related to old age, so seeing them more often helps us catch things early.
