What is this for?
This blog post exists to help whoever takes over the administration of this website to know how to add articles to the website and have them formatted properly, be searchable by both the website and search engines, and how to manage attachments and media. Searchability is important: it is useless to have good information that you can’t find. Because this website is meant to be explored by students, classroom teachers, and the general public from remote communities who might not have the best access to veterinary care, it is really important that we make this information as accessible as possible!

- Every blog post MUST have a feature image set
- Use headings (H3) to divide up paragraphs
- At the end of every post:
- Separator line
- Header (H3)) “Additional Resources:”
- “Play a classroom KAHOOT based on this article: ________” is the only additional resource that doesn’t need to be hidden behind a details tab
- Add a details tab, and then a link to related articles, or a link to an appropriately titled file (change the file name BEFORE you upload it, it cannot be easily altered afterwards)
- another Separator line
- Categorize the post appropriately (try to use the existing categories)
- Add appropriate Tags
- Ensure the SEO Focus keyphrase, the SEO title, and the SEO Meta Description are all populated with relevant data
- Take a look at other articles that are finished and keep the formatting consistent
